Wild Weekend Approaching

Everything from horses to fiesta's to flying pigs!
Derby Day is Saturday, the Flying Pigs Sunday and Monday is Cinco De Mayo. Does seem a little odd that people run the flying pig (I wonder if they fly the running pig [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img] ) but let's just go with it and see how it plays out. Seems to work itself out each year somehow. Derby day tends to lead to Derby parties and c'mon, who doesnt like a little fiesta.!??! Especially for Cinco De Mayo. It's almost rude not to at least do a little something for Cinco De Mayo, and we have a huge fest for it going on here in Cincy. But, you can celebrate it at home or at your favorite mexican restaurant if you like as well. You know, many people just combine the two and have themselves a little Derby Fiesta.
It's a good idea. Why not. Hey, any excuse to have a party is a good one, and this way you are combining two great party days together. Maybe a couple margaritas in place of the mint julieps or a mojito or pina colada instead of the whiskey. (Hey, [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img] is pretty much a safe bet either way, but you may wanna choose something more "representative" of the day [img]wink.gif[/img] . So set up that tco bar, grab a pitcher of whatever you like and prepare to party this weekend. Doesnt have to be a huge shindig, just a nice little fiesta will do. But if you wanna go big, well I say have at it and knock yourself out.
